At a virtual kick-off event attended by over 70 employees, participants learned about the scopes, objectives, vision and status of the Tripanko project to implement two very important software programs at SAAM Towage– Nautical Systems and Helm.

This initiative also includes adjusting and standardizing our Maintenance, Purchasing, Dispatching and Invoicing processes.

Additionally, the opportunity served to bring together the people behind this ambitious project and the teams that will be in charge of implementing Tripanko in each country, in tandem with aligning the strategies being used to support the process. These include a training plan featuring multiple courses, tutorials and booklets, as well as a change management and communications plan with action plans for mitigating possible risks and incidents.

Finally, the project leaders communicated the next steps to complete implementation of Tripanko, a project that will help us standardize and optimize processes in order to make information traceable and streamline management.
