Renata Ervilha, country manager SAAM Towage Brasil:

“The project will be a milestone”.

Renata Ervilha, Country Manager of SAAM Towage Brazil, reflects on implementation of the Tripanko Project in that country, which has 51 tugs and 523 employees distributed throughout 14 ports.

According to her, the Tripanko Project has presented challenges for her team because their tug fleet is large and diverse, which has required considerable dedication and commitment from employees. However, she believes the project will be a milestone for Brazil “since we will have systems that were specifically designed for our operations based on our needs.”

Although the Brazilian team currently works with NSE and Helm, new versions of these systems and their broader scope will be beneficial for everyone.

On the experience, she said, “we are very pleased with the high level of collaboration from our employees, who are committed to the project outcomes. We are all anxious to conclude implementation in order to use the new tools,” she commented, adding that, “once the Tripanko Project has been implemented, SAAM Towage Brazil will be in a new position, with another level of management.”
