The NSE team spent a week in Brazil 100% dedicated to process analysis and NSE integration at SAAM Towage Brazil. The work involved reviewing acquisitions and accounting processes for a better understanding of the current situation and a more efficient use of time.

Giancarlos Jacomini, Accounting Coordinator at SAAM Towage Brazil, commented that the visit “had a positive response for project direction, primarily so that the development team could verify in situ the points that are considered critical. The week was full of debates, examples, questions and possibilities that haven’t even presented themselves yet.”

“I think that this visit will facilitate future work, as we were able to meet the people we see every week in person and generate more trust among each other. We were in the same room, which facilitated understanding, and we dedicated all our working hours to this,” mentioned Maite Ugarte, Head of Projects and Ongoing Improvement for the Procurement Department.

Javiera Cifuentes, Projects Coordinator for SAAM Towage, comments that “progress was made in determining the best way to connect the NSE system with our accounting management ERP, so we don’t lose controls and customizations that exist in our purchasing process.

For the implementation of NSE at SAAM Towage Brazil, the go-live session was held in Maintenance a few month ago. “We are in the process of platform hypercare, to check whether there are any problems with the system, accesses, maintenance information or whether any training needs to be reinforced,” says Javiera.
