Position and years with SAAM Towage: Project Manager – Tripanko NSE. I have been here for a grand total of (drum roll, please)… 12 days! Haha! I formally started on January 1 of this year, but I have been with the company for a little over five years.

Education and profession: Between the first and fifth grades, I went to Colegio Saint Dominic in Viña de Mar. I mention it because, even today, I am still in contact with most of the friends I met there. I transferred to Colegio Rubén Castro, also in Viña, and I graduated in 2007. I now have an undergraduate degree in industrial engineering from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso.

Describe your role in the project: Lead Nautical Systems system implementation for SAAM Towage, ensuring that it occurs on time and according to Division objectives.

What do you like to do in your free time? Spending time with friends; reading; meditating; playing the ukelele; listening to music; exercising; playing Nintendo; looking at memes and watching cat and dog videos on Instagram; enjoying a beer on the balcony (I fortunate to have a wonderful, unobstructed view of the mountains); “hammocking”, which is what I call going to a park, putting up  a hammock between two trees and lying down; and resting.

Favorite childhood food: Lasagna.

Last book you read: The Miracle of Mindfulness by Thich Nhat Hanh. I have read it many times and recommend it.

Favorite movie: Tough question. Truthfully, I don’t watch many movies, but I’ll go with Into the Wild. I like the book better, though.

Unforgettable experience: Exchange program my senior year of college at Appalachian State University in North Carolina, United States. The experience was a turning point in my way of being and thinking.

Define yourself in one word: Calm.
