Helm training moves forward in Chile: 45 captains are receiving guidelines for the software go live and operation.

Giorgio Vindigni, New Project Engineer for SAAM Towage Chile, explained that this preparation is designed to familiarize them with the Tripanko project so they can learn more about the module that will be used on board. Most of the training was conducted at the ports, and when the personnel time constraints prevented it, it was completed online.

We have also moved forward with the Moodle Helm course, which provides informational video capsules on the Tripanko project and the benefits of this platform that standardizes and modernizes internal administrative systems for employees.

“The process is moving along nicely. To date we have trained 21 of 45 captains.  Those already trained are 100% ready and prepared for the program to go live,” said Vindigni.
