The NSE software (Nautical System Enterprise) went live on November 3rd with 24 tugs, branch offices and headquarters in Mexico.

For months, the SAAM Towage team has gathered information and coordinated the maintenance, operations and finance areas to be able to implement the platform. The main activity involved training crews at all ports, which required a lot of coordination.

Héctor López, from the Management and Processes Department at SAAM Towage Mexico, commented that “the training sessions required very precise coordination to carry them out correctly and at the right time, since it not only involves showing the crews a system, but they must actively participate and practice using trial runs to minimize any gaps that could arise once it goes live.”

Now, what’s left is to develop and test the interfaces for inventory.
