One of the foundations of the Tripanko project is correctly collecting and uploading technical information into the NSE system. This involves collecting and sending as much data as possible on a tug to ABS. Such data includes maintenance and spare part manuals; plans and specific information on the tug’s main equipment. It is then uploaded to NSE.

This is extremely important to obtaining quality information and ensuring the consistency of the databases we will have in the system.

Given our goal of implementing NSE in all countries this year, we have modified the strategy for this process so that everyone begins collecting information now. This was done to meet the set deadlines and have the entire network move forward together at the same time.

To streamline progress, we have provided access to a shared repository of manuals in Sharepoint.
