Position and years with SAAM Towage: I am a Senior Operations Specialist in Brazil and have been in this position for four months. Before, I worked as a Project Engineer in SAAM’s Development Area, evaluating investments. I did that for almost 3 years and 7 months, so I will soon celebrate my 4th anniversary with the group.

Education and profession:  I studied industrial engineering at Universidad de Chile. I think a similar degree in Brazil is “Engenharia de Produção”.

Describe your role in the project: I am a Project Manager for the implementation of the Helm and NSE systems in Brazil. Mainly, I am involved in organizing internal resources, making sure objectives are being met on time and in the right way and, above all, supporting the Brazilian team’s review of each process and issue.

What do you like to do in your free time? I like to run, hang out with friends and family, be in nature and listen to all kinds of music (yes, I am one of those people that goes from heavy metal to pop, passing through several decades in between). In the summer, I like to go to my grandmother’s farm.

Favorite childhood food: Spaghetti with hamburger patties.

Last book you read: Estorbo, by Chico Buarque.

Favorite movie: Amélie.

Unforgettable experience: Being able to travel with my mother to Japan, a country I’d always wanted to see. We had an incredible time and I will always remember all the adventures and things we experienced together.

Define yourself in one word: Cheerful.
